Following a high volume of complaints from a gig on Cooper’s field recently a number of sound restrictions have been imposed on the site. These restrictions are on both volume and the times when music is allowed and make it pretty much impossible to hold an all day music event on the site.
As a result we were forced to look for another site for Blowout but with such a short lead time it seems we’re fighting a losing battle and will not be able to hold Blowout on July 17th.

I can’t begin to explain how frustrated, annoyed and utterly devastated we all are at this situation, the collective effort from the army of people involved deserves better but the powers that be don’t see it that way.

Ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

The silver lining…..

We’re currently in the process of confirming a site for a re arranged Blowout in September and for next year’s Blowout.

And….

On July 17th there will be a three stage mini festival featuring the cream of the local acts due to play Blowout and as a good will gesture from all involved it will be completely FREE!!

So come down support the music and join us as we party like b’stards.
